Brechtel Park

Mission Statement

Brechtel Park is a 110-acre New Orleans city park managed and maintained by the Department of Parks and Parkways; Ann E. McDonald, Director.

The primary goal of this project is to develop an EcoPlan to be utilized by volunteer groups and maintenance crews in the proper restoration and management of Brechtel Park as an ecological park with passive recreation activities and environmental educational opportunities.
